App Connectors
A connector lets Plexon work in an app you already use. Connect your account, then ask it to find a customer in Salesforce or post an update to Slack. Browse 81 apps below to see what each one can do and how to connect it.
What happens in this clip
- Open the marketplace with Ctrl+K.
- Search for an app you already use.
- The card says what the connector will be able to do before you install anything.
- Install it and the setup starts.
- Link it to your own account, in this case by scanning a code once. Then just ask.
Related features
Pick an app
Open Tools, choose the Apps view, and install the app you want to use.
Connect your account
Follow the sign-in steps for that app. Your saved sign-in details stay on your computer.
Ask for a task
Try “Find this customer in Salesforce” or “Post this update to our Slack channel.” Plexon uses the account you connected.
Read the results in chat
Connectors can support different result formats. Where an app provides them, Plexon can show links, file changes, or task output in the conversation.

Searches can return a list of titles and links you can open.
File changes
Changes to a file can show the lines added and removed.

A task can show its output in a separate card beside the conversation.

How sign-in works
Some apps ask you to sign in through your browser. Others give you a secret key to paste into Plexon, and a few need no sign-in. Each app’s page explains its steps. Choose which projects can use each connection. When Plexon performs a task in an online app, it sends that app the information the task needs.
Test copies and live data
Some connections offer a test copy of your data alongside the live version. If yours does, choose it in Settings, Tools, Environments before trying a new task. Plexon marks connections that use test data. You can switch all supported connections together or keep one on a separate choice.
