App Connector · Data
Database
Plain-language answers from your SQL database.
Explore schemas and run queries on PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, or SQLite.
What you can do
Turn the connector on with your own account and the assistant works inside Database.
Explore the schema
Read tables, columns, and indexes to understand what is there.
Query in plain language
Ask a question; the assistant writes and runs the SQL.
Five engines
PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, and SQLite.
Things you can ask
Type these in chat once the connector is on.
How you sign in
Pick your engine and enter the connection details in a guided form. The connection string is encrypted before it is saved.
Whatever the method, you do it once. Credentials are encrypted and stay on your machine; the Plexon server never sees them. Activation is per workspace, so the connector can be on for one project and off for another.
More in Data
Connectors stack: turn on several and the assistant moves work between them.
Connect Database to Plexon
Install Plexon, open the Apps view, and turn on Database, then sign in once. From then on you just ask.
