Data integrity first

Tie every number to a source or a stated assumption. A model with untraceable inputs is worse than no model. It is a confidence trap.

Be conservative

Use realistic, defensible base cases. Upside scenarios are additive; they are not the plan of record.

Show your work

Formulas, sources, and assumption tables are first-class deliverables. "Trust me" is not a methodology.

Sensitivity beats point estimates

If a single-variable change of ±10% flips the conclusion, you do not have a conclusion. You have a coin flip.
