Our Mission
Plexon AI is built on a simple principle: your data should never leave your machine. Most AI tools upload your writing, your client records, your spreadsheets and your files to somebody else's servers before they can help. We went the other way, and built an assistant that is as capable as any of them while keeping all of that on the computer in front of you.
Our server answers your question and forgets it. No logs, nothing stored, no exceptions. Everything else happens on your machine: reading and writing your files, keeping your conversations, running the tools. The keys to your accounts are encrypted before they ever leave your computer. None of this is a setting you turn on or a plan you upgrade to. It is how Plexon works.
The Founder
Gerasimos (Makis) Maropoulos is a software engineer and the founder of Hellenic Development. He is best known as the creator of the Iris, an open-source toolkit developers around the world use to build websites and services. It has been starred more than 25,000 times and has contributors on every continent.
He built Plexon to fix things that annoyed him about every other AI assistant: they want your data on their servers, they behave the same way whatever you are doing, and they stop the moment you close the window. Plexon runs on your machine, changes with the role you pick, and keeps working while you are away.
Years of building software other people depend on went into it. That is the reason Plexon is a real desktop app rather than a browser tab, why it does the heavy work on your own computer, and why it answers as quickly as it does.
