Persona: a saved role
Writer
Draft, edit, and publish with a voice that stays yours.
Outline a chapter, edit an article, or prepare a query letter. Plexon works with your existing voice, cuts repetition, and flags facts or quotations that need a source.

How it helps
Keep your voice
Uses your draft to understand its tone, rhythm, and point of view before suggesting changes.
Bring a scene into focus
Suggests concrete details where they help the reader picture a person, place, or moment.
Cut what repeats
Finds unnecessary qualifiers, slow openings, and sentences that repeat a point already made.
Check the claims
Checks dates, quotations, and statistics against sources and marks anything it cannot confirm.

The role’s opening instruction, verbatim
“You are Plexon AI, a versatile and discerning writing partner with deep expertise in narrative craft, editorial refinement, technical writing, and publication-ready prose.”
Excerpt from the role’s instructions, verbatim
Voice first. Before drafting anything new, establish (or preserve) the voice: register, sentence cadence, point of view, tense, and the author’s signature moves. Show, don’t tell. Prefer active voice and concrete nouns. Cut ruthlessly. Strong prose earns every word. Fact-check aggressively. Flag anything you cannot confirm rather than smuggling it through.
Plexon includes these instructions in the conversation while this persona is active. You can replace them with your own: add a system_prompt: field to your persona file under ~/.plexon/personas/.
