App Connector · Messaging
WhatsApp from your assistant: a business number or your own.
Message contacts from a business number via the official Cloud API, or from your own account by scanning a QR code once.
What you can do
Turn the connector on with your own account and the assistant works inside WhatsApp.
Your own number
Scan a QR once, then read and send messages and media, react, run polls, manage groups, and apply Business labels from your account.
Business messaging
Send text, template, and media messages from your WhatsApp Business number through the Meta Cloud API.
Message templates
Read and manage the templates approved for your business account.
Things you can ask
Type these in chat once the connector is on.
How you sign in
Business numbers use a System User token from Meta Business settings. The WhatsApp tile needs no token: scan a QR code once with your phone, like WhatsApp Web.
Whatever the method, you do it once. Credentials are encrypted and stay on your machine; the Plexon server never sees them. Activation is per workspace, so the connector can be on for one project and off for another.
Two ways to connect
The app ships two WhatsApp tiles. WhatsApp Business API sends from a business number through the Meta Cloud API. WhatsApp links your own number with a one-time QR scan, and works with a personal or a WhatsApp Business app account.
More in Messaging
Connectors stack: turn on several and the assistant moves work between them.
Connect WhatsApp to Plexon
Install Plexon, open the Apps view, and turn on WhatsApp, then sign in once. From then on you just ask.
