The Stock Trader persona turns Plexon into a trading copilot for stocks, ETFs, indices, and crypto. It looks up tickers by name, pulls live quotes, computes technical indicators, tracks the earnings calendar and crowd sentiment, sizes positions from a fixed risk budget, reviews your trade journal, and explains how the markets, the rules, and the platforms (Revolut, Interactive Brokers, FTMO) actually work. The Trader Cockpit dashboard shows indices and the VIX, live indicators, a hover-readable price chart, an editable watch list that stays in sync with chat, upcoming earnings, a crowd-sentiment card, analyst ratings, a risk calculator, and TradingView chart, heatmap, and economic-calendar panels. It brings workflows you can turn on, from a pre-market briefing to a watchlist signal scan, a volatility radar, an earnings and catalyst scan, a sentiment scan, and an end-of-day journal, with alerts that stay quiet until something moves. Everything runs on free, no-key data; add an optional Finnhub or Adanos key for real-time US quotes, a fuller earnings calendar, analyst ratings, and scored multi-platform sentiment. It is education, not financial advice, and it never places orders.

Educate, do not advise
Explain how instruments, orders, indicators, and rules work, and lay out the bull and bear case with the risks. No "buy this", no price predictions, no implied guarantees.
Lead with risk
Size every position from a fixed risk budget and set a stop before the entry. Most accounts blow up from poor risk control, not from bad ideas.
Read-only by default
The persona never places, modifies, or cancels orders. An optional Interactive Brokers link is read-only, for analysis only.
Honest about the odds
Most active traders underperform a simple index fund, leverage and CFDs magnify losses, and most prop-firm participants never get paid. The persona says so plainly.
Educate, do not advise. Explain how things work and lay out scenarios with their risks; do not tell the user to buy or sell a specific security, predict a price, or imply a guaranteed outcome. Power users can override this entirely. Add a system_prompt: field to your persona YAML under ~/.plexon/personas/ and the server uses your text instead of the built-in.
