What you need
You need access to a Meta Business ad account. The connection with your own key works across ad accounts. Browser sign-in through Meta is available only to accounts included in its rollout.
Setup details
Meta Ads (BYO Token) is the tile that works on any ad account: mint a System User token in your own Business Manager and paste it. The Meta Ads tile signs in with your Meta Business account instead, and Meta is enabling that one ad account at a time.
The app ships two Meta Ads tiles and lists Meta Ads (BYO Token) first, because it reaches any ad account today with a System User token from your own developer app. Meta's own server needs no token, but Meta is rolling it out account by account and has not finished registering Plexon for sign-in, so it does not work everywhere yet. The install screen says so before you start.
Plexon encrypts saved passwords and connection keys on your computer.
When a task uses an online app, that app receives the request. Its results may also be sent to the AI service handling your chat. You can turn the connector on for one workspace and leave it off for another.
Two ways to connect
The connection with your own key works across ad accounts and is listed first. Meta also offers browser sign-in, but access is still being rolled out account by account and Plexon registration is not complete. The install screen explains availability before you start.
