Step 7 of 8  ·  about 20 minutes

Package it as a role

Turn a working setup into something that can be switched on in one click.

Do this

  1. Write down the standing knowledge as a skill. Ask in chat and it will author one.

    Try this

Turn what we worked out in this session into a skill called <name>. Cover the rules I keep repeating, leave out the one-off details, and keep it short enough that I will actually read it.

  2. Create a sub-agent for the part of the job that should run on its own.

    Try this

Create a sub-agent that handles <the part of this job that repeats>. Give it only the tools it needs, and tell me which ones you picked and what you left out.

  3. Open Personas and run the wizard. It drafts the description and welcome prompts.

  4. Attach the board and the workflow you built in steps 5 and 6.

  5. Switch to the persona and check the sidebar is the one that role needs.

You are done when

Switching persona changes the prompt, the tools and the sidebar together, and switching back restores them.

What just happened

A persona is a package, not a prompt. Its skills, agents, boards, workflows and connectors travel with it, which is what makes it something you can give to somebody else rather than something you describe to them.
