Messages live in memory and the board is one JSON file in the Plexon home folder, outside the repository, with nothing uploaded and no account involved - [Pinned Messages](https://plexon.ai/features/pinned-messages/): Pin any message in a chat, from the user or the assistant, and find it again later. Hover a message and click the pin; a pinned message keeps its marker visible instead of hiding it until hover, and the control appears once a turn finishes rather than mid-stream. The sessions sidebar switches to a Pinned view that replaces the session list: each row shows the role, when it was pinned, a two-line preview, and the session it came from, with unpin on the row itself. The sidebar search filters pins by message text, session title, and project name. Clicking a pin loads its session and scrolls to that exact message with a brief highlight, resolving against a stable per-message id rather than a position or timestamp (older sessions are given ids on their next load). The index is machine-global: pins default to the project currently open, All projects widens the list, and a pin from another project carries a chip naming it, and reaching that one means opening its project since chats are stored per project. Pins are stored in a single JSON file in the Plexon home folder with no account and no sync, so nothing carries them between computers on its own, though a transfer bundle does (see Move to Another Machine); a pin whose session was deleted greys out and says so instead of vanishing, and pins do not travel inside an exported .plexshare session share - [Drafts](https://plexon.ai/features/drafts/): A page, a markdown document, or a source file the AI builds for the user to keep opens in a pane docked beside the chat, with every version the AI produced. The user flips back to an earlier version, compares two, and carries on from the one they like; Edit with AI opens a copy of the version in the embedded Browser, in the same chat, and the pane shows the result as a new version when the turn lands. Asking for a few directions shows two to four side by side in the chat; picking one sends an ordinary message and the AI keeps working on that draft. Drafts live under the Plexon home folder on the user's machine and nothing about them reaches the Plexon server. - [Command Palette](https://plexon.ai/features/command-palette/): A search box in the middle of the title bar, or Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on macOS), opens one search over everything Plexon knows about: skills, agents, tool servers and their individual tools, connectors, personas, plugins, workflows, dashboards, data sources, API connections, hooks, schedules, routines, chats, memory notes, plans, journal entries, pinned messages, roughly 220 settings, and every sidebar panel. Opened with nothing typed it lists the most recent picks, then commands, then panels; typing ranks the whole list and picks out the matched letters in each row, with a chip naming the kind. Connectors and tool servers rank first, so a product name finds the integration: connectors carry the brands they actually reach, which is why facebook and instagram both find Meta Ads, and Enter opens the install flow while Ctrl+Enter shows the marketplace card instead. It acts as well as navigates: switch mode or theme, register a marketplace URL, install a connector, open what is new, or open spec-driven mode. Settings are searchable by what they do rather than their name, so make the text bigger finds the base font size, and picking one opens its Settings tab, scrolls to the owning section and outlines it briefly. Every AI provider is findable under its vendor name (openai, gemini, fireworks and the rest) and lands on the provider dropdown without switching anything, and claude or migration opens the Claude Code import wizard. Prefixes narrow by family (> commands, # panels, @ agents, * skills, & tools and connections, : settings, $ marketplace, ~ your own chats, plans, notes and pins), and / searches the words in the chat you have open by handing the query to the same search bar Ctrl+F opens. When nothing matches, it offers to search the open chat for what you typed or to send it to Plexon as a message, so a half-formed sentence works as well as a name. A decaying per-result counter folds frequency and recency so frequently used tools float up, capped so it never beats a stronger text match, and it stays on the machine with no account. Hidden panels still appear, marked and ranked low, and opening one does not change the sidebar; administrator-locked panels and content owned by an inactive persona stay out. The searchable list is handed to the window once and ranked locally, so no keystroke waits on a server, and it indexes names, titles, descriptions and tags only: file contents are never read, and message bodies only by way of the / prefix, which delegates to the chat search bar rather than building a second index. The Sessions search box searches across chats - [Shell Commands](https://plexon.ai/features/shell-commands/): Start a chat message with ! and it runs as a shell command on your machine instead of a prompt: !git status and ! npm test both work, a bare ! is just text, and a multi-line draft runs as one command. The command runs in the session's working directory and the result renders as a terminal card in the chat (command, exit status, working directory, shell, duration, and scrollable copyable output). The command and output are stored in the session history, so the next message to the AI already carries them as context (run !git status, then say "fix the conflicts"); no AI turn is spent on the run itself. A Shell command chip shows in the input toolbar while the draft starts with !; Enter runs it and Ctrl+Enter does the same, never queued. Works while the AI is busy: the running task keeps streaming and the transcript entry waits for the turn to finish before joining history. Under the hood it reuses the same per-OS shell routing as the AI's own command tool (PowerShell cmdlet detection, cmd dialect guards, Git Bash for POSIX syntax on Windows, automatic cross-shell retry); commands you type skip the AI-facing command blocklists, and a run past 90 seconds is promoted to the background with its PID instead of being killed. Output is buffered, not interactive (no PTY), and Live Share guests cannot run shell commands (they would run on the host's machine). A session you open with a command is named after what you ran, so the sidebar reads "Open report.pdf" rather than the stored command record - [GitHub Auto-Review](https://plexon.ai/features/github-auto-review/): Plexon watches the GitHub repositories you cloned and drafts a reply to every new issue and a review of every new pull request while you work. You point it at a folder, not a URL: it reads that folder's git remote to find the repository and reuses the GitHub account you connected once, and because the code is on your disk the reviewer reads the actual files rather than guessing from the issue text. Each repository has a start date applied to last activity, so a dormant thread is left alone while an old one that gets a new comment today is picked up, and that bound holds even when you press Check now. Drafts wait in the Approvals panel with the verdict on the front (green for an approval, amber for a request for changes); read, edit the text, change the verdict, post, or dismiss. Nothing reaches GitHub until you decide. Press Always instead of Post and that one kind of action on that one repository becomes automatic, with a daily cap so a loop degrades to drafting rather than spamming, a typed confirmation on public repositories, and one click to withdraw it; approving pull requests and replying to issues are separate permissions and one never implies the other. It never answers itself or bots such as dependabot, and it checks GitHub live before posting so a second reply never lands on a thread you already answered. A pull request is re-reviewed when the code changes, not when someone adds a label, so a rebase storm collapses into one review. Each repository has a daily budget, and a GitHub rate limit parks it rather than counting as a failure. A pull request review is written against the pull request's own code: Plexon fetches that branch and checks it out read-only in a throwaway copy at the exact commit, so your own uncommitted work is never read and never quoted onto a public thread, and the posted review is pinned to the commit it read. You can put markdown notes in your repository under .plexon/review-notes/ to tell the reviewer what you know, optionally scoped to when an item was opened (applies_to: <2026-02-05, or 2026-02-01-now, or a single day), which is how you get "anything opened before the v14 cutover, read MIGRATION.md first and answer from it". Any card can open a chat session inside the repository seeded with the draft, so you can rework it together before posting; that chat can never post to GitHub itself. Each repository keeps score of what happened to its drafts, posted as written versus edited first versus dismissed, which is the honest measure of whether the reviews are worth having. What gets posted reads like a person wrote it: the reply alone, no em dashes, none of the assistant narrating what it read. It can also write the fix: a patch in a throwaway copy of your repository with your own build and test command run against it, your working tree untouched, the diff and test output shown to you, and pushing the branch and opening a pull request left as a separate explicit click that is only offered when the tests actually passed. It refuses to push a working copy holding changes you never committed, or a branch that moved on after the tests ran, so a refinement you made in chat can never be silently dropped from the pull request - [AutoDream Memory](https://plexon.ai/features/autodream/): Background memory consolidation that deduplicates, prunes, and resolves contradictions. A skeptic gate keeps it from inventing facts during cleanup, flags unverifiable claims, and a weekly pass consolidates global memory too. The same run distils lessons: thumbs up and thumbs down on any reply, plus the problems Plexon hit twice, become standing rules it follows afterwards. A thumbs down with a line of explanation writes its rule immediately; an inferred rule needs two occurrences and waits for the next run, so hours or days rather than the next message. Every rule is an ordinary markdown note in the knowledge graph whose first line is the rule, editable and deletable, and 12 of the 40 auto-loaded index slots are reserved for them so newer notes cannot push one out of context - [Quality Harness](https://plexon.ai/features/quality-harness/): A quality layer for AI work. One setting (Full, Light, Off) that is Off by default for every provider and model; the user turns it on when they want verified work. At Full the model works under a verified-work contract: verify APIs and facts against the source before using them, write a spec before multi-step tasks, debug by reproducing with one hypothesis at a time, and hunt eleven fake-done shortcuts (relaxed tests, swallowed errors, stub returns, invented APIs, off-spec completions) before claiming done. The coding-specific rules apply only to engineering personas; other personas get a generalized quality core. Seven quality skills load automatically and invisibly, five coding skills ship with the Software Developer persona, a read-only verifier agent re-checks claims after any change and files a verdict in the Inbox, and an @loop agent runs a task to a verified end against a spec on disk - [Adaptive Routing](https://plexon.ai/features/adaptive-routing/): Plexon learns which of its own suggestions one user actually takes, and which agents actually finish the job, per user and on that machine only. Thompson sampling over Beta posteriors, one option per coarse context bucket (capability|, agent||). The cold-start guarantee holds by construction, not by luck: the learned weight is n/(n+4), so with no observations it is zero, the ranking is the existing heuristic's ranking, and a stable sort leaves ties in catalog order. Two observations move a ranking by at most a third. Every reward is a signal the product already produced and threw away: a consent card accepted (1.0) or declined (0.0), a verifier verdict of pass (1.0), unverifiable (0.5) or fail (0.0), a loop agent reporting done, partial or blocked, a workflow run reaching completed or failed, a tool result that errored. A cancelled workflow run is deliberately absent from that table, and nothing infers dissatisfaction from what the user typed next. Verdicts usually arrive after the turn, so each decision is recorded against the correlation id the later signal carries, resolves once however many times the signal repeats, and expires unrewarded after 7 days. Evidence decays daily (0.977, about half retained over a month) and an option decayed back to its prior is deleted rather than shown as a row saying nothing. Picking a specialist agent for a sub-task that named none is on by default (turned off with behavior.disable_agent_routing), because the alternative it replaces is the generic ad-hoc sub-task rather than no choice at all, and with no evidence the pick is the plain description match; letting close candidates bid keeps its own switch (behavior.disable_agent_bidding, also on) because it is the only part that spends tokens, at one short model call per candidate and at most four. An explicit @agent mention or manual pick always wins, a mode-incompatible or hidden agent is never selectable, and plexon_tool_search stays deterministic. Settings, Advanced, "What Plexon learned" prints one block per context with each option's score and the run count behind it, Reset per bucket and Reset all, plus the state file path. The state is one local JSON file at ~/.plexon/routing.json written atomically with 0600 permissions, and no part of it is ever attached to a request - [Knowledge Graph](https://plexon.ai/features/knowledge-graph/): A derived index over the markdown memory notes that answers who relates to what, and which note said so. Ask about a person, a company, a client, or a project and one question replaces opening several files: it resolves the same name written different ways, follows the links between notes, and returns each fact as a sentence carrying the file, the line, the date, and whether the note stated it or something derived it. The markdown stays the only copy. Nothing writes a fact the notes do not already state, two rebuilds of an unchanged corpus produce byte-identical output, and Forget the graph loses nothing because the next question rebuilds it. Two spellings of one name are proposed for merging with both sides' evidence and never merged automatically, since a wrong merge is silent and close to impossible to notice later; a short name sitting inside more than one longer name is flagged ambiguous, names are compared with honorifics set aside and facts are never compared, and the decisions a person confirms are kept in a separate file that survives both a rebuild and a delete. Greek folds correctly: Ιωάννης and Ιωαννης are one person and final sigma does not fork Νίκος from Νίκοσ, while two different people who share a first name keep two entries. A fact a newer note claims to replace stays visible and flagged rather than hidden, and a fact inherited from a class arrives marked with the class named, because "clients pay annually" and "this client pays annually" are different claims. Relations are plain markdown anyone can write: entity: in the frontmatter, a Relations block, and any [[wikilink]] anywhere in a note, all of which AutoDream also adds during consolidation. The same graph resolves the recipient, date, and period in a draft you are still typing, deterministically and with no model call, and it pre-fills only. Caps at 20,000 facts and 4,000 entities per scope, and a capped build says what it dropped. The same graph also draws as a picture in a dialog opened from the memory pill under the message box, or from a plexon://open?panel=memory&item=graph link Plexon opens on request, filterable by kind, mention edges, and memory scope; a docked Edit with AI tab in that dialog edits the underlying notes rather than the graph directly, and the map redraws once the edit saves. Preflight catches the three failures that leave every status green: an underscore folder Jekyll drops so the page loads with no styles, a base path that does not match where the site will live, and a browser-routed app with no 404.html so every link except the home page is dead. Custom domains show the exact records for the kind of name (four A records for a bare domain, one CNAME to the account for a subdomain), name the CAA record and Cloudflare proxy traps that block certificates with no DNS-level symptom, and adopt a CNAME the repository already carries. A private repository needs GitHub Pro or Team and keeps the source private, not the site. Publishing is also a workflow step, so a schedule can regenerate a page from local data, pause for approval, publish, and tell you it landed. The content lives in a repository Plexon creates and holds, or in one you already own, and the row says which. Publishing is uploading a package: the row then carries the version, the date and the address of the person who uploaded it, and a Plexon-held catalog takes its name from the package manifest so it cannot drift from what is inside. A catalog is offered to the groups you pick rather than switched on for the whole company, and someone who leaves that group stops being offered it on their next call. A catalog in your own repository carries a credential health indicator, a check that asks the provider right now, and a rotate that replaces the credential in place. Deleting a Plexon-held catalog offers to delete its repository with it; your own repository is never touched. - [Company Websites](https://plexon.ai/features/company-websites/): Every site a company’s people published from Plexon, in one inventory, with the owner, the address, the state, the certificate state, whether the domain verified, and the last error kept on the row rather than thrown away. Offline is a state and not a deletion: the address is held and the next publish clears it. Sites publish under the company domain; the hosting configuration itself stays with Plexon on purpose (it decides where a company publishes and who pays for the zone) and the company gets a read of it, the records it depends on, and a re-check that asks the provider now. Publishing is a right a company admin grants, on a group or on one person, with takedown as a separate switch. A company can remove one site or several at once, and chooses in the same action whether the repository behind it is deleted or left where it is. - [Persona Agreements](https://plexon.ai/features/persona-agreements/): A role that reaches sensitive data can require the person to read and accept a written agreement before it will run. The role is the unit that carries connected apps, workflows and datasets, so it is the unit that decides whose data moves where, and the agreement rides with it. What is recorded is the version the author declared plus a fingerprint of the exact text that was shown, because an author who edits terms in place without bumping the version would otherwise keep every earlier acceptance looking valid. The record is append-only: a new version adds a row rather than replacing one, so what somebody agreed to and when stays answerable. The gate fails closed.
